Law enforcers search for militants in Urus-Martan District of Chechnya
Chechen law enforcers are searching militants in the Urus-Martan District of the republic, where last night a suspected member of the armed underground was killed while law enforcers tried to detain him.
The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that the armed clash in the Urus-Martan District took place in the forest near the village of Shalazhi. According to a source from the Chechen law enforcement bodies, an armed man who was killed in a shootout was identified as Khamid Andiev, an active member of the armed underground.
