"EcoWatch": Evgeny Vitishko is in colony on general terms

The concerns of rights defenders that Evgeny Vitishko, an ecologist from Krasnodar, was placed in the dungeon in the penal colony in the Tver Region of Russian, where he serves his term, have not confirmed. As reported by activists of the "Ecological Watch for Northern Caucasus" (EcoWatch), Evgeny's conditions have not changed.

On April 16 and 17, the Krasnodar activists Anna Mikhailova and David Kankiya visited the settlement of Sadovy in the Tambov Region, where the colony-settlement No. 2 (CS-2), where Evgeny Vitishko is serving his term, is located, Andrei Filimonov, the deputy coordinator of the "EcoWatch", told the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent.

According to his story, it is all OK with the prisoner Evgeny Vitishko, who is still in the CS-2 on general terms. As explained by Vitishko, the absence of telephone communication with him was caused by the fact that the colony bosses had temporarily deprived all the inmates of the right to make telephone calls after three convicts ran away from the colony.
