MfE: earthquake in Northern Caucasus was felt in KBR and North Ossetia

In Northern Caucasus, the earthquake was felt in the Kabardino-Balkarian Republic (KBR) and North Ossetia. This was reported by the Departments for the KBR and North Ossetia of the Ministries for Emergencies (MfE).

On Tuesday, at 1:31 a.m. Moscow time, European seismologists recorded an earthquake with epicentre 15 kilometres off the village of Psedakh of the Malgobek District of Ingushetia. According to the European-Mediterranean Seismological Centre, the earthquake magnitude was equal to 3.7.

The message reporting on the earthquake that occurred in 20 kilometres from the town of Terek of the Tersk District of the KBR was received at 2:02 a.m. Moscow time. This was reported by the website of the Chief Department of the MfE for the KBR.

The information about the earthquake that occurred on the border between the Pravoberezhny District of North Ossetia and KBR was received at 1:59 a.m. Moscow time. This was reported by the website of the Chief Department of the MfE for North Ossetia.

"No one suffered as a result of the seismic event," report the messages of the MfE Departments for KBR and North Ossetia. According to them, the magnitude of the earthquake was 2.7.
