"USS Taylor" frigate of US Navy enters Black Sea

On April 22, the frigate "USS Taylor" of the US Navy entered the Black Sea. This was reported by an official from the General Staff of the Russian Navy Forces. Meanwhile, military men of the Southern Military District (SMD) report on their intention to show the public for the first time the samples of equipment at disposal of the SMD navy units: the system designed to destroy surface vessels.

The US Navy frigate became the second American warship in the last 1.5 months that entered the Black Sea, since on March 7 the guided missile destroyer "Truxtun" crossed the Bosporus Strait.

According to the information service of the US Navy, the mission of the frigate "USS Taylor" is to improve the interaction with the NATO forces concentrated in the area, the "Interfax" reports.

The "Caucasian Knot" correspondent was told in the press service of the SMD that on May 9, during the military parade in Rostov-on-Don, the modern samples of military equipment at disposal of the SMD navy units will be presented to the public for the first time.

On the Victory Day, at the Theatre Square of Rostov-on-Don, the mechanized column of the parade unit of the SMD forces will include mobile coastal missile system (MCMS) "Bastion" and coastal defence artillery system "Bereg" (Coast).
