Murtazaliev: Amirov's supporters tried to force me to refuse evidencing against him
Supporters of ex-Mayor of Makhachkala Said Amirov made efforts to force Sagid Murtazaliev, the head of the Russian Pension Fund for Dagestan, to refuse from testifying. This is the topic of Murtazaliev's comment, released by Albina Sunkulieva, the press secretary of the Pension Fund.
The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that the April 25 court session listened to Sagid Murtazaliev, a prosecution witness and the head of the Russian Pension Fund for Dagestan. According to investigators, the defendants had prepared an assassination attempt on him.
After information appeared in a number of media and social networks about the alleged threats pronounced by Said Amirov at the trial against Murtazaliev, the head of the Dagestani Branch of the Pension Fund decided to give his official comment. According to his story, Amirov's supporters tried to interfere into the trial and exert pressure on him personally.
He added that it was encroachment on his honour and dignity.
