Resident of Makhachkala states disappearance of her husband

Nizam Asaliev, a Makhachkala resident, has disappeared; his relatives believe that he could be kidnapped.

Amina Asalieva, his wife, told the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent that Nizam Asaliev was selling furniture; he was last seen at the furniture warehouse on April 26.

"I last talked to him on the phone at about 11:00 a.m., but in the afternoon he did not answer my calls. At about 1:30 p.m., an unknown man called us through the apartment intercom and said that my husband damaged his car and fled. This does not look like my husband," said the woman.

She explained that her husband was an inexperienced driver; he had a couple of accidents, but he never fled from the venue.

According to her story, judging by the video from surveillance cameras of the store, the car of her husband was driving in circles around the block, while grossly violating the traffic rules. The woman is sure that the car was driven by someone else.

Asalieva said that her husband had earlier some problems with the law; but he has served his sentence and was living a normal life.

"My husband spent five years in jail under Article 222 – illegal possession of weapons. Two years ago, he was released and did not break anything since then. We have three young children," said the wife of the disappearance. Asalieva also said that she knew nothing about any husband's problems that could lead to his disappearance.
