Chechnya: grenade explosion kills a man
The man who threw a grenade at policemen, died from multiple fragmental wounds. None of the policemen was hurt, says the press service of the Russia's Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA) in Chechnya.
According to the MIA, the incident occurred in the village of Pervomaiskaya. Policemen from the Grozny ROVD (District Interior Division) stopped a man to check documents, but the latter objected and threw a grenade towards the policemen. As a result of its explosion, he himself received numerous wounds incompatible with life.
During the inspection of the body, agents found a passport of a 36-year-old native of Ingushetia, said the press service.
