MIA: house blown up in Dagestan belonged to casualty of special operation

The house in the village of Novy Agachaul in the Karabudakhkent District of Dagestan, which was blown up by power agents on May 4, had belonged to a local resident who was killed in a special operation in 2013, the Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA) of Dagestan has reported.

Let us remind you that on May 4 law enforcers said that they found a 12-kilo bomb in the basement of a private house in the above village. According to the Russia's National Antiterrorist Committee (NAC), the bomb was blown up on the spot.

According to the MIA, the unfinished one-story house in the Novy Agachaul, where the hideout with the bomb was detected, had belonged to a local citizen, born in 1982, who was killed on August 17, 2013, during a special operation conducted in the village of Manas of the Karabudakhkent District.

The explosion did not damage the neighbouring houses, Gadji Malakaev, the head of the Novy Agachaul village administration, told the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent.
