In Tskhinvali, about 500 people attend mourning rally to pay tribute to victims in South-East of Ukraine
On May 6, in Tskhinvali, in front of the Temple of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary, people held a mourning rally to pay tribute to the memory of the victims in the South-East of Ukraine and the victims killed in the assault of the Trade Unions House in Odessa. The square in front of the Temple gathered about 500 people, including members of various political parties, social organizations, school children and journalists.
People expressed their condemnation in address of the leaders of the "Right Sector" and the current government in Kiev.
"The entire civilized world was shocked by inhuman intentional burning people alive in the Trade Unions House in Odessa. This is a crime which cannot be forgiven. Such atrocities could be committed only by nonhuman beings, who lost their human conscience," one of the activists has said in his speech.
The speakers have noted that today, in the South-East of Ukraine, right to life is being grossly violated. Besides, the protesters have appealed to UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon and representatives of the PACE and the OSCE to contribute to stop the armed conflict of the unified Ukrainian people.
