Imam Felix Agaragimov disappears in Dagestan, his relatives assert

In Dagestan, relatives of Felix Agaragimov, the Imam of the village of Kurkent, the Suleiman-Stalsky District, cannot find his whereabouts. The local ROVD (District Interior Division) fails to confirm the fact of his detention.

Felix Agaragimov, born in 1983, the Imam of Kurkent, who lives in the same village, was detained on May 6, after a search of his house at No. 32 Michurina Street, the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent was informed by his brother Nagrudin Agaragimov.

According to his story, since May 6 nothing is known about his brother's whereabouts and what he is suspected of. Nagrudin Agaragimov said that relatives had visited the above ROVD, where they were told that Agaragimov was not there.

The relatives hired Israfil Gadadov, a lawyer from the Bar Association "Kavkaz", to protect the interests of Felix.

Israfil Gadadov told the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent that so far he failed to locate Felix Agaragimov. According to the lawyer, in the near future he intends to submit complaints to the judicial supervisory authorities.
