Gadjimurad Ibragimov disappears in Dagestan, lawyer Sapiyat Magomedova reports
Since May 8, relatives of Gadjimurad Ibragimov, who is a stepbrother of one of the victims in the murder case of four Gamzatov brothers and Magomed Omarov, cannot locate him and fear that Ibragimov could be kidnapped in order to put pressure on the family. This was reported by the advocate Sapiyat Magomedova.
The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that the Supreme Court of Dagestan is considering, behind closed doors and with participation of the jury, the murder case of Magomed Gamzatov, a Deputy of the City Assembly, and his brothers Osman, Yusup and Gazidibir, and his nephew Magomed Omarov. They were killed in a fight with the use of firearms in Kizlyar on March 18, 2012. On March 19 and 21, 2012, their relatives blocked the Federal Highway Rostov-Baku demanding the resignation of the head of the Kizlyar District, whose securities, according to casualties' relatives, were involved in the killings.
Since the beginning of the consideration of the case, not only relatives of the murdered Gamzatov brothers, but even the lawyers involved in the case, were subjected to pressure, Gamzat Gamzatov, one the victims, told the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent.
