Azamat Tseboev released from Vladikavkaz colony
Azamat Tseboev, a resident of North Ossetia, whose relatives reported his illegal detention after expiry of his prison term, is finally at large, said the colony administration.
The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that relatives of Azamat Tseboev, convicted by the Predgorny District Court of the Stavropol Territory for illegal purchase and possession of narcotic drugs, declared a gross violation of his rights by the bosses of the Vladikavkaz high security colony, known as FKU IK-1. According to relatives, Tseboev's prison term was unreasonably exceeded; and he was placed into the dungeon.
"Azamat Tseboev was set free on May 6, upon the court order coming into force," said the colony's spokesman.
Akhsar Tseboev, Azamat's brother, told the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent that the inmate stayed in the dungeon until his liberation.
Akhsar has added that relatives will not challenge the decision of colony bosses to extend his brother's term of imprisonment.
