Dagestan: missing Gadjimurad Ibragimov released from police
In Dagestan, Gadjimurad Ibragimov, whose whereabouts was unknown since May 8, on May 10 has been set free from the police station, the lawyer Sapiyat Magomedova has reported.
According to her story, on May 8, Ibragimov and two other securities of the Trading Centre "Planeta Lux" were detained and taken to the Soviet ROVD (District Interior Division) of Makhachkala, where they were kept until midnight on May 10.
The lawyer Magomedova told the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent that employees of the ROVD asked the detainees about what they did in Makhachkala, whether they had any links with "forest guys" (i.e., with militants, – note of the "Caucasian Knot"), etc. They also asked about the FSB employee, who was killed on May 8, and whether they knew him."
"Ibragimov and his companions calmly answered all the questions: they came to Makhachkala on business; and they were unaware about any murder. Apparently, these answers did not satisfy the policemen; and they began beating up the detainees," she added and noted that Ibragimov's relatives intend to appeal against the actions of the employees of the Soviet ROVD.
