Moscow Muftiyat sets up scholarship for successful students from Northern Caucasus

Sixteen natives of the republics of Northern Caucasus, who study at the Moscow universities, have been selected for scholarships in the framework of the initiative of the "Doverie" (Trust) Business Club under auspices of the Spiritual Administration of Muslims (SAM) of Moscow. This was reported by organizers of the project.

The social action is aimed to encourage constructive interaction between youth and the Moscow Muftiyat. This was told to the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent by Mufti Ildar-Khazrat Alyautdinov, Chairman of the Moscow SAM.

"The Caucasian youth and the SAM are a little bit away from each other, and they exist in parallel, without trying to find common ground where they could benefit from mutual interaction. Thus, we have been thinking for a long time how we can form a constructive dialogue for mutual benefit," Ildar-Khazrat Alyautdinov has said.

The initiative to hold such an action has been voiced by the "Doverie" Business Club. It includes successful businessmen who have expressed their desire to support talented Caucasian youth.
