Authorities in Chechnya allocate funds to pay 100,000 roubles to each family of deceased law enforcers

Each of more than 1500 families of Chechen law enforcers, who were killed on duty, will receive from the Chechen authorities a lump-sum material assistance in the amount of 100,000 roubles. This was told to the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent by an official from the local law enforcement authorities.

On May 13, Chechen leader Ramzan Kadyrov signed a decree on the allocation of funds. It was decided to provide financial support as a part of festivities of May 16 on the occasion of the opening in the town of Argun of the mosque named after Aimani Kadyrova and the complex of high-rise buildings "Argun City".

"The funds for that purpose are to be allocated by the public fund named after Akhmat Kadyrov," states an official from the Chechen law enforcement authorities.

Furthermore, according to the correspondent's source, Ramzan Kadyrov has instructed his subordinates to consider naming streets of cities and towns across the republic after the deceased Chechen law enforcers. It is noted that in this way, the Chechen authorities intend to perpetuate the memory of those law enforcers who lost their lives during the years of the counterterrorist operation in Chechnya.
