MIA: LifeNews operator beaten up by fans of "Zenit" FC

As reported by the Chief Department for the Krasnodar Territory of the Russia's Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA), today, a TV operator of the LifeNews group was beaten up by fans of "Zenit" Football Club from Saint Petersburg. Besides, the LifeNews states that their correspondent Litvinova was also beaten, and fans damaged the expensive television equipment.

The incident occurred at the "Kuban" Stadium during the "Zenit"-"Kuban" match of the 30th round of the Russian Premier League.

"We were attacked by several fans from Saint Petersburg, who smashed our equipment and attacked me and the operator, who was severely beaten: he has his eyebrows cut and multiple injuries," the LifeNews quotes its correspondent Victoria Litvinova adding that traumatologists fixed bruises on her, while the operator had to undergo a surgery.
