Four wounded policemen brought to Makhachkala from Gunib District

Today, four law enforcers, who had been wounded on May 15 in the shelling near the village of Sogratl of the Gunib District of Dagestan, have been delivered to Makhachkala. At the Gunib Hospital, the victims were visited by Abdurashid Magomedov, the head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA) of Dagestan.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on May 15, an armed clash occurred in the village of Sogratl. According to the updated information, as a result of the armed clash, three law enforcers were killed and ten other policemen were wounded.

"Today, four wounded policemen were transported to Makhachkala. Yesterday, we sent three policemen to the capital. One of the policemen is in critical condition: he got a gunshot wound to his head. Another policeman got a gunshot wound to his chest, and he is also in serious condition. The conditions of other policemen are evaluated as of moderate severity," the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent was told by one of the staff members of the Gunib District Hospital.

According to the source, at present, three policemen wounded during the special operation stay in the hospital. They are also to be transported to Makhachkala in the nearest future.
