Resident of Makhachkala complains about spread of discrediting data about her involvement in armed underground

Sarizhat Isaeva, 58, a resident of Makhachkala, has complained to human rights activists about publications disseminated on the Internet, where she is treated as a potential suicide bomber. The woman is registered as an adherent of the radical trend of Islam; however, there are no specific claims to Isaeva, the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent was informed at the Dagestani Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA).

On May 21, Sarizhat Isaeva addressed the Dagestani Regional Public Organization (DRPO) "Pravozaschita" (Advocacy) asking to help her to clarify the grounds, on which her personal data was posted on one of the websites on the Internet as a potential female suicide bomber, said Aisha Selimkhanova, an employee of the DRPO.

According to her story, Sarizhat Isaeva has addressed them not for the first time.

Isaeva said that officially she is not wanted, and planned this year to depart for the Hajj. "But I'm afraid to travel even outside Makhachkala, because I fear provocations against myself," said the woman.

Sarizhat Isaeva has clarified that her son Rasul Guliev, born in 1983, was suspected of involvement in IAFs; and, therefore, was put on the federal wanted list. According to official sources, he blew himself up in 2011 when transporting an improvised explosion device (IED). The woman is sure that the increased attention to her has to do with her son.
