Alikhan Kuzgov: Sagopshi villagers ignore authorities' call to confess of their help to militants
On May 24, the authorities of Ingushetia have called on Ingush residents, who were rendering assistance to militants in Sagopshi, to voluntarily come to the law enforcement agencies within the three-day term. However, the Ingush residents did not respond to the authorities' call. This was reported by Alikhan Kuzgov, Secretary of the Security Council of the Republic of Ingushetia.
"Till present, no one of the people, to whom we addressed our call, has come. If they used the chance we had given them, we could apply to the law enforcement agencies and the judicial institutions to reduce the terms of their sentences in case if they had committed crimes," Alikhan Kuzgov told the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent on May 26.
According to Alikhan Kuzgov, sooner or later, the law enforcement agencies will identify those people, and then the latter will bear full criminal liability as accomplices of militants.
The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on May 24, in the Ingush village of Sagopshi, the special operation was conducted. As a result of the special operation, seven persons were killed, including Arthur Gatagazhev, the "Emir" of Ingushetia, who was identified by fingerprints.
