At court, official of PFRF for Karachay-Cherkessia asserts Madina Khadjimustafova can get her maternity capital

During the court hearing, an official from the Pension Fund of the Russian Federation (PFRF) in the city of Karachaevsk has stated that the Fund did not hinder Madina Khadjimustafova, a resident of the village of Malokurganny, to get maternity capital and that she has the right to dispose of it. This was reported by the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent.

On May 6, Madina Khadjimustafova, a resident of the village of Malokurganny of the Karachaevsk City District of Karachay-Cherkessia, filed a lawsuit to the Karachaevsk City Court. In her complaint, she asked to oblige the PFRF's Office in Karachaevsk to issue for her a state certificate for maternity capital. Earlier, the PFRF's Office in Karachaevsk has refused to issue a certificate for Madina Khadjimustafova's children and referred to the fact that the woman had a criminal record.

Advocate Tamila Tram has stressed that because of the family circumstances and a child's sickness, "the family needs the required funds to be allocated without delay."

Let us remind you that in her complaint, Madina Khadjimustafova explained that on March 11, 2009, she was convicted under Article 156 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (failure to perform duties of upbringing a minor), and was sentenced to a fine. Her criminal sentence was served on April 10, 2010. However, on April 18, 2014, the woman received a letter from the PFRF's Office in Karachaevsk with the refusal to issue a certificate for maternity capital.
