In Rostov-on-Don, more than 20 persons attend rally to support Donbass residents

Today, in Rostov-on-Don, activists of the Rostov Branch of the public organization "Suts Vremeni" (Essence of Time) have held a rally to support residents of the Donetsk and Lugansk Regions of Ukraine that face hostilities. The activists have organized a chain of pickets. This was reported by organizers of the action.

"More than 20 picketers took to the streets, holding in their hands the posters reading: 'Save Donbass People!'," the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent was told by Maxim Goncharov, Press Secretary of the public organization "Suts Vremeni".

The activist has emphasized that the action required no sanction, since it represented solo pickets.

According to the activist, people, who were passing by, were actively asking questions about the action.

The "Caucasian Knot" has also reported that on June 6, in the gym of the school No. 1, member of the committee "Mothers of Beslan" held a similar action. The victims of the terror act in Beslan have filed an appeal to the UN Security Council to help resolving the conflict in Ukraine.
