Ramazan Magomedov, a resident of Makhachkala, was kidnapped in the area of Gagarin Street and taken to an unknown place, activists of the Dagestani Regional Public Organization (DRPO) "Pravozaschita" (Advocacy) told the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent.

One of the activists said that she was informed about the kidnapping by phone at about 7 p.m.

"A source said that in Gagarin Street, near the store named 'Telli', four men in a silver Priora car with state number plate 973 drove up to a green VAZ-21012 wagon, driven by Ramazan Magomedov, born in 1986, draw him out of his car, struck with a butt on his head, put a mask over his head, pushed into their car and drove away," said the activist of the DRPO.

The on duty unit of the Lenin ROVD (District Interior Division) of Makhachkala said that they knew nothing about Ramazan Magomedov's kidnapping; and that he was not among their detainees.
