In Dagestan, victims in case on murder of five persons complain that law enforcers fail to investigate attack on their store

In Dagestan, policemen twice refused to accept the complaint from the victims in the case on the murder of four Gamzatov brothers and Magomed Omarov. The family members of the murdered men want to file the complaint about shelling of the store in Kizlyar, belonging to the Gamzatov family. This was reported by advocate Sapiyat Magomedova. The relatives of the murdered men claim that the law enforcement agencies do not want to carry out the investigation into the incident.

Earlier, the "Caucasian Knot" has reported that at the court session held on June 11, Gyulmina Askhabova, the widow of one of the murdered men, has claimed that the relatives of the murdered men are being pressured by the law enforcement agencies and unidentified persons. In particular, the woman has reported that at night of June 11, unidentified persons shelled the store in Kizlyar, belonging to the Gamzatov family.

According to Gamzat Gamzatov, a nephew of the murdered men, on June 13, the relatives for the first time filed to the Kizlyar police department the complaint about shelling of the store. However, policemen refused to accept the complaint.

"They began to dissuade us to file our complaint and explained that it would become one more unsolved case. We have also reported the incident to the district police inspector. However, even then no one came to question witnesses. Law enforcers failed to collect the shells or to carry out other investigative actions," Gamzat Gamzatov has noted.

According to him, as at 8:00 p.m. of June 13, relatives managed to persuade the policemen to accept their complaint about the crime.
