Kidnapped resident of Tukui-Mekteb aul in Stavropol Territory found dead
Relatives have identified the body found near the Stepnov check-post in the Stavropol Territory as Zamir Taibov, a resident of the aul of Tukui-Mekteb, who was considered kidnapped since June 13.
The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that today residents of the Neftekum District of the Stavropol Territory held a rally in connection with the disappearance of Zamir Taibov. His relatives had supposed that he was kidnapped, because, according to their story, Taibov was summoned for a talk to the local FSB.
The employees of the Neftekum ROVD (District Interior Division), who came to the rally in the middle of the day, told the audience that today they found the body of a bearded man with a bullet wound in the head close to the Stepnov check-post, one of the relatives of Zamir Taibov told the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent.
The relatives who came to identify the body confirmed that it was Zamir Taibov. "The body has two gunshot wounds, one looks like a control shot into the head, the other one is in the armpit area. The body was found not far from the highway to Pyatigorsk. We think that Zamir's body was hastily brought there right today," a resident of Tukui-Mekteb, who took part in the identification, told the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent.
"We are confident that this was a provocation of power structures," he added.
