In Sochi, trial on Lavrikov family resettlement postponed till June 30

The court session to consider forced resettlement of the Lavrikov family from their emergency housing into a one-room flat in the house built for Olympic Games volunteers has been rescheduled for June 30.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that about 30 residents of two emergency houses located in Esaulenko Street in Sochi complained about forced resettlement into the "Olympic" housing facility. The court session on the lawsuit of the Mayoralty against the Lavrikov family, living in No. 5 in the above street, was to take place on June 16.

During the session on Monday, Judge Olga Maslakova listened to the arguments of the claimant, who demanded to satisfy the claim of the Mayoralty and provide the Lavrikov family with a one-room apartment.

Anna Lavrikova, the owner of her flat in the old house, objected to the Mayoralty's demand by telling the court that the flat in the "Olympic" house was provided to her into social tenancy.

In their turn, Anna's parents and her brother insisted on providing them with separate dwelling facilities. The Lavrikov spouses also announced their intention to challenge the privatization of the flat by their daughter.
