Residents of Rostov farm yard bordering with Ukraine report on finding ammunition
In the Rostov Region, residents of the farm yard of Primiussky located near the Russian-Ukrainian border have found unexploded shells. This was reported by an official from the Border Guard Service of the Russian FSB for the Rostov Region. According to the source, the shells found by the local residents supposedly came from the Ukrainian side.
The shells were found in the Kuibyshev District of the Rostov Region, about one kilometre from the border between Russia and Ukraine. The information about the ammunition was passed on to the law enforcement bodies, and the very place where the shells had been found was cordoned off.
In the morning of Monday, combat engineers defused the mines. This was reported by the "Interfax" with the reference to an official of the press service of the Regional Border Guard Service.
The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on June 4, an emergency regime was introduced in 15 territories of the Rostov Region bordering with Ukraine. On June 5, the Government of Ukraine decided to stop traffic through 8 out of 32 checkpoints on the border with the Rostov Region.
