In Volgograd, about 50 people rally for peace in Donbas

The participants of the rally demanded from Russian authorities to take measures to stop the bloodshed in Eastern regions of Ukraine.

The rally was organized by the movement "Russian Public Soviet", which had coordinated the event for up to 1000 persons with the authorities, as Stanislav Terentiev, an activist of the movement, told the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent.

The rally demanded from Russian president, the government and the Federal Assembly "to take action to end the bloodshed and liberate the Donetsk and Lugansk People's Republics of junta troops," recognize the outcomes of the referenda held there and to establish diplomatic relations with them as with independent states.

Along with the rally, a flash mob was held in Lenin Square of those who disagreed with the demands of rally participants.
