In Krasnodar Territory, Kuschevskaya Cossack village deploys camp for refugees from Ukraine

A camp for Ukrainian refugees, located in the heart of the Cossack village of Kuschevskaya is the first camp deployed in the Krasnodar Territory. The camp is provided with all communications and convenient approach roads. This was reported by the administration of the Cossack village of Kuschevskaya.

"The camp is fully prepared, and we expect the arrival of refugees today," said an official on duty from the Cossack village administration.

According to the recent reports, Kuban has admitted about 3500 refugees from Ukraine. The tent camp in the Cossack village of Kuschevskaya located next to the stadium "Urozhai" (Harvest) is to accommodate 200-300 refugees. The place was chosen not by chance: the Kuschevskaya District borders with the Rostov Region, through which Russia admits the main stream of refugees. This was reported by the statement published on the website of the regional administration.

According to the Ministry for Emergencies (MfE), more than half of refugees from Ukraine arrived in the Southern Federal District (SFD). The refugees are also being accommodated in the Volgograd and Astrakhan Regions and in the regions of the North-Caucasian Federal District (NCFD) - Dagestan, Kabardino-Balkaria, and Ingushetia.
