ICRF: militants were involved in killing teacher in Dagestan
Inspectors believe that the murder of Akhtubek Malaev, a teacher from the village of Shauri, Tsuntin District of Dagestan, was committed by the militants of the grouping that acted in the district. The "Caucasian Knot" correspondent was informed about it by a source from the Investigating Department (ID) for Dagestan of the Investigating Committee of the Russian Federation (ICRF).
The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that at night on June 2, in the village of Komsomolskoe, Kizilyurt District of Dagestan, Akhtubek Malaev, 41, a teacher from Shauri, was shot dead. Earlier, in 2003, Malaev took part in a special operation aimed to liquidate a grouping of militants under command of Ruslan Gelaev; later, he received threats, said a source from the administration of the Tsuntin District.
"The main version of the investigation is the militants' revenge for Malaev's cooperation with law enforcers.
