"Alternativa" reports on liberation of three persons from labour slavery in Dagestan

Three persons were liberated from labour slavery in one of the brick factories in Dagestan. This was reported by the public movement "Alternativa".

According to the activists, on June 26, three young men, who came to work in Moscow, were liberated. They are Andrei Nasedkin, a citizen of Russia, and Andrei Kharitonov and Artyom Petrov, citizens of Belarus.

They were brought to Dagestan after they had agreed on the work in Moscow. This was stated by Oleg Melnikov, the leader of the movement "Alternativa". On June 27, his statement was disseminated in the group of the "Alternativa" in the social network "VKontakte".

"A man approached people and offered them to earn some money. He gave them some tea, and twenty hours later, they woke up in a trunk of a regular bus. And then, they were brought to the factory in Dagestan, where they were informed that they had been bought and that they already owed money," Oleg Melnikov has described a scheme how the people got into labour slavery.

The young people have spent different periods from one week to six months in the labour slavery. This was reported by the News section of the Belarusian website "Tut.by" with reference to Oleg Melnikov.
