In Dagestan, head of Committee against Corruption complains about underestimation during USE
Salikh Gadjiev, the head of the Dagestani office of the Committee against Corruption, has addressed a letter to Ramazan Shakhnavazov, Prosecutor of the Republic of Dagestan. In his letter, Salikh Gadjiev has reported on biased scoring at the Unified State Exam (USE), which was passed by his son Magomed Gadjiev. There are also other local residents in Dagestan, who are not satisfied with the results of the USE.
The Magomed Gadjiev's father believes that the points were underestimated for all subjects. According to him, in Dagestan, points on the USE are underestimated intentionally "to deprive Dagestani residents to go to study in Russia."
A female resident of the Lak District has also appealed to the conflict commission.
"My daughter is going to enter the medical academy. During the whole year, she studied chemistry with a tutor; however, she got only 36 points. Of course, we are not satisfied, and we think that the points are underestimated," the woman states. She has also noted the unacceptable and nervous atmosphere, in which the USE was held.
It should be noted that according to the results of the USE held in 2013, the regions of Northern Caucasus became the leaders in Russia for the number of revealed violations 336. Of them, according to the statistics of the "Rosobrnadzor" (Russia's Federal Agency for Education and Science), 222 violations were committed in Dagestan.
