NAC: assassinated Rizvan Aliev was involved in blowing up Makhachkala DPS post in May 2012
Rizvan Aliev, who was killed last night in Makhachkala, was involved in the commission of several major terror acts, including the blowing up the road-and-post service (DPS) post in May 2012, says the Russian National Antiterrorist Committee (NAC).
The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on Thursday night a man was killed in the capital of Dagestan. The police officials said they had killed a member of the "Makhachkala" terrorist grouping, who was identified as Rizvan Aliev. According to the police, he was wanted on suspicion of involvement in illegal armed formations (IAFs).
"According to the operational headquarters of the NAC, he was an active member of the 'Makhachkala' gang and was involved in several major terror acts, including the explosion of the DPS post in May 2012," said the NAC as quoted by the "Interfax".
According to the NAC, there were no losses among power agents and nobody of civilians was hurt.
