Law enforcers have blown up eight houses in Maidanskoe, villagers report
The "Caucasian Knot" correspondent reports with reference to local residents that today in the village of Maidanskoe, Untsukul District of Dagestan, law enforcers have blown up eight households.
In the morning on July 6, the Untsukul District of Dagestan was put under the counterterrorist operation (CTO) regime. Power agents blocked the villages of Maidanskoe, Zirani and Balakhani.
On July 8, it became known from local residents that power agents had blow up a household and the madrasa. It was reported to the Human Rights Centre (HRC) "Memorial" that policemen detained a suspected militant in the local mosque, said Sirazhutdin Datsiev, the HRC's representative in Dagestan.
Later, a Maidanskoe villager, who preferred to remain anonymous, told the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent that power agents had blown up six houses, belonging to local residents, including Nurudin Magomedov, Kabir Sachadov, Gairbek Abdullaev, Patimat Abidova and Magomed Abdullaev.
According to latest data, the total number of houses blown up by power agents in Maidanskoe reached eight.
So far, the "Caucasian Knot" has no comments from law enforcement bodies on the locals' statements about the explosions in private houses and the madrasa.
