On the eve of sentencing Said Amirov, advocates urge the court to pass fair decision
The defence did a huge job of proving the innocence of the temporarily removed from office Mayor of Makhachkala Said Amirov and his nephew Yusup Djaparov, as Vladimir Postanyuk, the defence group leader, told the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent. The advocates urge the court to make a fair decision.
Let us remind you that on July 9 the North-Caucasian District Military Court plans to announce the verdict on the case of the dismissed Makhachkala Mayor Said Amirov and his nephew Yusup Djaparov.
"In the course of the trial it turned out that the aim of the criminal case is not to establish the truth, but to remove Said Amirov from the socio-political arena of Dagestan with an attempt to use for this purpose his nephew Yusup Djaparov," Vladimir Postanyuk told the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent.
According to another advocate – Dmitry Khoroshilov – the prosecution has failed to present any evidence of the defendants' guilt.
According to Khoroshilov, he counted 108 violations during the preliminary investigation and the trial itself admitted by the prosecution.
