Defendant in Yegor Scherbakov's murder case states at trial that he had not signed interrogation protocols
At the trial for the murder of Yegor Scherbakov, a resident of the Moscow district of Biryulyovo, the defendant Orkhan Zeinalov said he did not sign any protocols of the interrogations, which, according to the case files, had been held during the preliminary investigation, the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent reports.
At today's court session, Orkhan Zeinalov stated his innocence, arguing that on the day of Scherbakov's murder he was not in Moscow, but at home in the town of Kolomna near Moscow, the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent further reports.
Then, the party of the prosecution petitioned to announce Zeinalov's testimony, in which he pled guilty in part, namely, stating that he had stabbed Scherbakov, that there was a conflict among them and a scuffle; he told about a verbal altercation, after which the scuffle began.
"I didn't sign it; these are not my signatures," said Zeinalov, looking through the glass of his "aquarium" at the sheets in the case volumes, shown to him by prosecutor Shpakovskaya. He rejected the authenticity of more than five interrogation protocols compiled during the preliminary investigation, the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent reports.
