ICRF: shell fired from Ukraine hits house in Rostov Region, killing a man
As a result of the explosion of an artillery shell fired from the territory of Ukraine, a man of 46 was killed in the Donetsk District of the Rostov Region; and a woman was wounded, said the Investigating Committee of the Russian Federation (ICRF).
The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on July 12 Russia and Ukraine accused each other of shelling. As reported by the special representative of the Russia's FSB for the Rostov Region, on July 12 four other Ukrainian shells blew up in the territory of the Rostov Region.
According to investigators, on Sunday, July 13, a shell launched from the Ukrainian territory got into the yard of a household located in Donetsk, a small town in the Rostov Region of Russia, exploded there and killed a man, born in 1968. A woman was also hit by a blast wave.
Now the venue is studied by investigators, who ret to clear out all the circumstances of the incident. A criminal case was initiated on the man's murder, says the website of the ICRF.
In his turn, the spokesman of the National Security and Defence Council (NSDC) of Ukraine said that the troops involved in a special operation in the eastern part of the country did not open fire on the Russian territory.
