In Chechnya, two locals suspected of aiding armed underground
As reported by the Investigating Department (ID) for Chechnya of the ICRF, two residents of the village of Katar-Yurt, Achkhoy-Martan District of Chechnya, are suspected of aiding members of illegal armed formations (IAFs).
According to investigators, in May this year the locals aged 20 and 31 received 10,000 roubles from IAF members for the purchase of foodstuffs for the armed underground.
A criminal case was initiated against the men under Part 5, Article 33, and Part 2, Article 208, of the Russian Criminal Code (aiding IAF members).
