ICRF suspects boxing coach of killing KChR's MP

Investigating authorities of the Karachay-Cherkessian Republic (KChR) have announced the names of two residents of the republic, wanted on suspicion of murdering Mukhamed Kunizhev, a Deputy of the Republic's National Assembly. They are a boxing coach and his son.

The 41-year-old Mukhamed Kunizhev was killed on July 15 in the village Psyzh, Abaza District of the KChR. Two locals are suspected of committing the murder, who, according to some sources, had a conflict with the MP on land relations. Kunizhev was killed when he played football at the local stadium.

Those wanted on suspicion of the murder are the earlier convicted Psabyda R. Evgamukov, a Psyzh resident, born in 1953, a boxing coach at the children and youth sports school, and his son Khomgot Evgamukov, born in 1982, the "Interfax-South" News Agency reports referring to Sergey Shuvaev, a senior assistant to the head of the Investigating Department (ID) for the KChR of the Investigating Committee of the Russian Federation (ICRF).

Mukhamed Kunizhev planned to run for a mandate of the National Assembly of the fifth convocation to be elected on September 14.

A criminal case was opened on the fact of the murder by the above ID of the ICRF for the KChR, says the official website of the ICRF.
