In Armenia, participants of "Million Mask March" declare themselves to be political prisoners

On Friday, July 18, the policeman Petros Airapetyan, who is considered to be the third victim in the case of the protesters on November 5, 2013, testified to the court. In the course of the court session, the defendants and their advocates stated that Airapetyan testimony was false, and that the case was politically motivated.

During the sessions on June 11 and 16, the policemen found to be the victims in the case of the "Million Mask March" presented their evidence. According to the victim Andranik Arakelyan, policemen prevented the protesters from getting to the roadway, in order to enforce the law and order, but he did not receive any injuries as a result of the collision. In his turn, the policeman Gegam Khachatryan said that he was attacked by three activists.

The next court session is scheduled for July 23.
