Man killed in Novoselitskoe District of Stavropol Territory is Almaz Abdulnasyrov, says his wife

The man shot dead on July 21 in a shootout in the Novoselitskoe District of Stavropol Territory is Almaz Abdulnasyrov, a resident of the village of Kara-Tobe, Neftekumsk District, says his wife. She questions the power agents' version of the incident, in which the man was shot dead.

Let us remind you that on July 21, the press service of the Chief Department of the Russian MIA for the North-Caucasian Federal District (NCFD) released information that in the Novoselitskoe District of the Stavropol Territory policemen had killed a man who opened fire on law enforcers. Later, they found a TT pistol and a grenade on the casualty.

Maida Kakbulatova, the wife of Almaz Abdulnasyrov, said that she did not believe the official version. "Firstly, my husband did nothing illegal; secondly, you see how many Muslims have been killed since the start of the year in the Stavropol Territory – all of them allegedly at rendering resistance. A month ago only we buried Zamir Taibov; now they killed my husband," she said.

The murders of Zamir Taibov and Almaz Abdulnasyrov are links of one chain, said a local resident, who personally knew Abdulnasyrov.

"The members of the Muslim community of the territory believe that this is the authorities' way to put pressure on the Salafi community," a resident of the Neftekumsk District told the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent.
