In Adygea, participants of the library flash mob give out 50 books

On July 19, the central park of the city of Maikop became the venue of a flash mob – a public action "City with a Book", held on the initiative of the National Library of Adygea. Aminat Kuchmezova, the head of the sector of mass events of the library, told the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent that the main task of the action was to promote reading.

"People now read less, because of the computer culture, which occupies their time. For us, all the means are good, including such unusual as flash mobs," said Aminat Kuchmezova.

The event was held by the staff and readers of the library – in total, about 65 people.

Within the action, posters were installed in the park with invitations to the library; while participants of the actions handed out free books to people – in total, about 50 books were spread.
