Relatives of Almaz Abdulnasyrov, killed in Stavropol Territory, asks prosecutors to check police's actions

In the Stavropol Territory, relatives of Almaz Abdulnasyrov, a resident of the Neftekumsk District, who, according to the official version, was killed in a shootout with power agents in the Novoselitskoe District, ask the Prosecutor's Office to check the legality of policemen's action, the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent reports.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported referring to the information of the Chief Department of the Russia's MIA for the North-Caucasian Federal District (NCFD) that in the morning on July 21, in the Novoselitskoe District of the Stavropol Territory, policemen killed a man who had opened fire on law enforcers. Maida Kakbulatova, Almaz's wife, doubts the law enforcers' version of the incident. According to her story, her husband's body had multiple bruises, abrasions and burns.

"We demand a check, since we're sure that the version of power agents is beneath criticism. Firstly, my husband was not armed; secondly, the statement that he could have relations with militants also looks strange. Almaz had served under contract in Chechnya; thus, on the opposite, he was against militants," said Maida Kakbulatova.

She added that she was most bewildered with the traces on her husband's body, presumably, from some device.

"The body has marks as if a blowtorch was used. Why is it so? Why does he have burnt fingers and toes? Who can explain it?" asked the widow.
