Two wounded Ukrainian servicemen hospitalized today in Rostov Region
Today, two wounded Ukrainian soldiers were hospitalized in the town of Gukovo, Rostov Region, said Vasily Malaev, the spokesman for the Regional Frontier Department of the Russia's FSB. Now, six wounded citizens of Ukraine are being treated in the Rostov Region; and the Deputy Governor of the Rostov Region has expressed hope that Kiev will compensate for the financial costs of their treatment.
The two new patients were transferred from Ukraine for treatment in Russia today at about 2:00 p.m. One of them is in grave condition, the other – in the state of moderate gravity, the "Interfax-Yug" reports referring to Malaev.
The soldiers were wounded in a fight in the territory of Ukraine, a few kilometres off the border of the Rostov Region.
The compensation to the Russian party for treatment of Ukrainian militaries in Russia will be decided through diplomatic channels, the "Interfax-Ukraine" quotes Andrei Lysenko, the Speaker of the Information-Analytical Centre of the National Security and Defence Council of Ukraine.
