MIA of KChR: one of suspects of killing MP Kunizhev is ready to surrender

As reported today by Kazimir Botashev, the head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA) of the Karachay-Cherkessian Republic (KChR), the boxing coach Psabyda Evgamukov, who had been put, together with his son, on the federal wanted list on suspicion of murdering the Republic's MP Mukhamed Kunizhev, has expressed his intention to surrender to law enforcement authorities.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that in the evening on July 15 the 41-year-old Mukhamed Kunizhev was killed in the village of Psyzh, Abaza District of the republic, during a football game at the local stadium. Two local residents are suspected of committing the murder, who, according to some sources, had a land conflict with the MP. On July 23, it became known that the suspects – the boxing coach Psabyda Evgamukov and his son Khomgot were put on the federal wanted list.

In the near future, the issue of detaining the suspects of killing Kunizhev may be solved, said Botashev during the today's press conference. "The senior one, the father, expressed his intention to surrender; and we are ready to create all conditions for that. If he doubts about the actions of the police, then, let him set out his conditions. Anyway, in the near future, the issue of their detention, I think, will be solved," said Botashev, the Interior Minister of the KChR.
