In Dagestan, killed man identified as Kamaldin Kazimagomedov

This morning, in the village of Kasumkent of the Suleiman-Stalsky District, policemen tried to stop a suspicious man to check his documents. The man opened fire on them and was killed by return fire.

The killed man has been preliminary identified as Kamaldin Kazimagomedov, a resident of the village of Ashagastal, reports a source from the law enforcement bodies. According to him, Kamaldin Kazimagomedov was wanted.

"Kamaldin Kazimagomedov, who was put on the federal wanted list, was a member of the so-called 'Southern' criminal grouping, operating in the territory of the republic," reports a source from the law enforcement bodies of Dagestan.

The source has emphasized that the killed man was suspected of numerous terrorist crimes, the RIA "Dagestan" reports.

In the past year, Kamaldin Kazimagomedov was put in the wanted list for involvement in illegal armed formations (IAFs), the "Chernovik" (Draft) reports with reference to a source from the law enforcement bodies of Dagestan.
