Kuban farmers complain about pressure on 18-year-old activist

Farmers will use an advice of the Vladimir Putin's press secretary and send an appeal to the Russian President. Meanwhile, according to the farmers, the police are trying to prosecute an 18-year-old activist, one of the organizers of the "tractor march".

Oleg Petrov, a farmer from the Caucasus Region, has reported that the persecution of activists of the movement "Polite Farmers" still continues. According to him, today, his son Vladimir has been wanted by the policemen to hand him over a protocol on administrative offense under Article "Violation of the order of organizing or holding meetings, rallies, demonstrations, and marches."

According to Oleg Petrov, his 18-year-old son has been enrolled for the first course of the Kuban Agrarian Academy and taken part in the tractor march together with his father.

In turn, Alexei Volchenko, the leader of the movement "Polite Farmers", has told the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent that today, in Moscow, farmers have met Tatiana Moskalkova, High Commissioner for Human Rights in the Russian Federation.

Meanwhile, Dmitry Peskov, the spokesman for Russian President Vladimir Putin, has reported that to meet the President, "the farmers participating in the tractor march should send an appeal to the presidential administration."
