Dagestan residents fight back their detained fellow villager from law enforcers
A video about how residents of the Khasavyurt village of Andiyskoye forced law enforcers to release their detained fellow villager caused a resonance in the network. Commentators supported the actions of the people who protested against the detention without presenting documents.
The information about this case is posted on the page "Voice of Dagestan" in the Instagram.
"They took our neighbour and threw him into the car without any reasons. When we noticed that he was taken away by two cars, we blocked the road," writes the author of the record, adding that people blocked the second car and did not let it go until they returned the detainee. According to the author, his fellow villagers were ready to unblock the road, if they were told the reason why the man was taken away.
"The power of unity," the user of the group "Voice of Dagestan" with the nickname mahmudova_patimat has commented the video. "Unity is our weapon," notes the k.raneta5786.
However, there are comments that condemn the villagers' actions. "We need to be able to live [...] in such a way, so that law enforcers had no reason to enter our house," said ramazanov.ashab05@_z_____m.
The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on June 17, at the protest action of the residents of the village of Nizhnee Mulebki of the Sergokalin District of Dagestan, a conflict with law enforcers also took place. It ended in mass detentions.
