Mutsolgov told how his search was held

Magomed Mutsolgov, an Ingush rights defender and a blogger of the "Caucasian Knot", said that the law enforcers in masks, who searched his house and the office of his human rights organization "Mashr", behaved correctly.

Today at about 6:30 a.m. Moscow time, the house of Magomed Mutsolgov was visited by more than 20 law enforcers. Before that, on June 26, Mutsolgov was summoned to the Prosecutor's Office of Ingushetia for questioning because of his publications at the "Caucasian Knot".

"The searchers behaved correctly, within the bounds of the law; they planted nothing and found nothing illegal; they drafted the legally required documents and left our premises," Mutsolgov wrote in his blog on the "Caucasian Knot".

Magomed Mutsolgov has been blogging on the "Caucasian Knot" since 2009. Despite numerous threats, he raises the republic's acutest problems in the sphere of human rights and the development of civil society, and posts appeals of residents of Ingushetia, who suffered from law enforcers' actions. Mutsolgov was one of the finalists of the contest "Hero of the Caucasus-2014" run by the "Caucasian Knot" for organizing the event "Week of Public Control in the Caucasus."
