Azerbaijan fixed no shelling from Armenian positions

Within the last 24 hours, positions of the Azerbaijani Army were shelled for 27 times from machine guns from the territories near the "occupied villages," the Azeri Ministry of Defence (MoD) has stated.

Earlier, on November 2, Azerbaijan fixed 30 shelling attacks on its positions during the last 24 hours.

The number of attacks recorded by Azerbaijan has sharply decreased after September 28, when President Ilham Aliev and Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan agreed to create a mechanism to prevent ceasefire violations. This verbal agreement can be violated at any time, Armenian political analysts suggest. The situation on the troops contact line may worsen, if after the elections of the new Govt, Armenia fail to start negotiations with Azerbaijan, Togrul Djuvarly, a member of the Azerbaijani National Public Committee for European Integration, has stated.
