Umarov accuses Chechen residents of ingratitude after photo collage with Kadyrov
In Chechnya, the authorities build hospitals, mosques, and roads, while residents who ask Ramzan Kadyrov for help disseminate caricatures to the leader of Chechnya in response, Djambulat Umarov, Chechen Minister for National Policy, expressed his indignation.
The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on January 25, the "Kavkaz.Realii" reported about the detention in Chechnya of 25 people involved in the dissemination of a photo collage in which Ramzan Kadyrov was depicted in the attire of an Orthodox priest.
Last night, Djambulat Umarov posted a video message on his Instagram page in which he called residents of the republic "indifferent people."
"The authorities are to build roads, hospitals, mosques, kindergartens for them. The authorities are to give them money and provide them with help [...], job, care, and protection. The authorities are to give everything to the people, but they'll still laugh at the leader, whose photo in a ridiculous form is sent to them through WhatsApp," the Chechen Minister says emotionally on the video.
By 11:37 a.m. Moscow time, the Djambulat Umarov's video gained 15,300 views, and 155 comments were posted under it. Most authors supported Djambulat Umarov and expressed their gratitude to Ramzan Kadyrov.
Meanwhile, user dagtrue found it excessive to praise Ramzan Kadyrov for the Chechen leader's achievements mentioned by Djambulat Umarov. "The construction of schools, hospitals, and other institutions is a direct obligation of the authorities. What are you talking about, Comrade Umarov?" the user wrote.
